I oversaw the finances of the 28 clubs, societies, and projects (with a balance of approximately £220k) represented by the Arts & Entertainments Management Group, as well as the finances for the Management Group itself.

Through this role, I also provided financial training and advice to the committees of these clubs and societies, and advocated for them on Imperial College Union’s Clubs, Societies and Projects Board (CSPB). Additionally, as a volunteer, I sat on the Summer Ball Student Steering Group, for which I was also on the audition panel for student performers.

I was responsible for organising social events for our members, from formal dinners to pizza nights. This role involved working directly with, and securing discounts from, restaurants across Kensington and Chelsea, as well as writing numerous risk assessments.

I was responsible for the finances of the Orchestra, including budgeting for the 2024-25 season, as well as day-to-day tasks such as the payment of suppliers and handling donations and ticket sales.

Additionally, I was financially responsible for a 100-person tour to Zaragoza and Burgos in June 2024, with a total expenditure of over £65,000. As part of this, I helped facilitate a £10,000 donation from the Provost’s Office at Imperial College London.

As Technical Officer, I recorded all of our concerts and made the recordings available to members of the ensemble, as well as their friends and family.

I designed and distributed publicity material for our Orchestra’s concerts. I additionally designed a concert programme booklet for each concert, and wrote programme notes for each piece we performed.
